During winter, the season of vata (ether + air elements) brings with it cold, hard, and dry qualities. With December holidays, travel, and added errands in our typical schedule, no wonder our bodies are spinning like a top by January. In order to keep our bodies supple from the inside out, we must juice ourselves by mindfully moving into a place that offers balance for the mind, energy of the season, and certainly digestion. This class will provide a combination of breathing techniques and movement that ground, balance, and lubricate cracking joints and tense tissue.
Ayurveda looks at digestion as one of the most integral components. After all, we transform, or digest, everything we pull into the senses.
